The UMass Amherst Graduate School conferred doctoral degrees to recipients—including international students representing more than 60 countries—during a ceremony May 9 at the Mullins Center before more than 3,000 family, friends and faculty.
She will share her advice and personal history with more than 5,000 undergraduates and their guests at the evening ceremony on May 15.
The exemplary achievements, initiative and leadership of some of the most talented and accomplished UMass Amherst undergraduates, including a pair of Jack Welch Scholars, will be honored during Undergraduate Commencement.
